Pigs in a blanket.

Since the holidays are coming up, I thought I'd share a few of my ideas for great appetisers. These are the boyfriends' favorite! The boyfriend and I love eating (a lot!), so often when we are watching a movie or some tv at night, we start having cravings. And these are a quick way to fix that!

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry (I used store bought)
  • 200 g of minced meat
  • Spring onion or some chives

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to whatever temperature is on the package of your puff pastry.
  2. Chop the spring onions/ chives finely and mix with the minced meat.
  3. Divide your puff pastry in different squares, preferably an even number. In half of the squares, put a little bit of minced meat in the middle.
You can make the squares as big or small as you like and put in as much minced meat as you want. It's up to taste. Just be sure you leave a little room on the sides to close your packets.
  4. Take the empty squares and put it over the minced meat squares. Press together and maybe use a fork to be sure the packet is closed.
  5. Put in the oven for about 15 minutes (again: check the package of the puff pastry).
